MACKEVICH, Vladimir

Born in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 1981. In 1999, he entered to study at the Vilnius University of Technology and Design, Lithuania. He currently resides in Moscow. Since 2008, he has held solo exhibitions in Lithuania, Russia, Switzerland, France, and Spain. His works can be found on permanent display in internationally prestigious art institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Lithuanian Museum of Theatre, Music and Cinema, the Kube Art Museum in Norway, the National Literature Museum in Moscow, and the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona. His work attempts to express the resonances of globalization, environmental pollution, and humanity's regression in order to highlight the importance of proper personal priorities and Mother Nature in our lives.
