CASTELLÀ, Salvador

Born in Canet de Mar, Barcelona, in 1960. Studied with Francisco Oliver and Alberto Alís. He has exhibited his work in Spain, France, Italy, Andorra, and Japan. Among the distinctions he has achieved, we can mention: First Prize Gold Medal of the 5th Exhibition of the Maritime Museum of BCN, First Prize Gold Medal of the 42nd International Fine Arts Salon of the Town of Béziers (France), First Prize for Watercolor from the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, Special Prize from the Watercolor Association of Girona and Regions, Diploma of Honor from Artistes Peintres Independants Ariegeois, and Honorable Mention at the 1st International Watercolor Contest of Bilbao. He is currently President of the Watercolorists Association of Girona and Regions and Vice President of the Canet Artistic Circle.
