SALARRULLANA, Carmen

Born in Zaragoza in 1945. She is the sister of the Spanish politician, writer, and professor Pilar Salarrullana (1937–2009). She earned her degree in Commercial Drawing from the Zaragoza School of Applied Arts, but her passion for art led her toward artistic creation, which she combined for 25 years with teaching academic fine arts, striving during this period to convey to her students the beauty and aesthetics of the great masters. Her work, which has been presented continuously in solo exhibitions since 1963, is represented in public institutions such as the Zaragoza City Council, the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, the Casino of Tiana (Barcelona), the Montcada Palace in Fraga (Huesca), among others, as well as in national and international private collections.
