BALLESTEROS, Paco

Born in Valencia in 1944. After living a life dedicated to his most cherished passion, painting, and having lived for years in France and Italy, he settled in the municipality of Aiguafreda, in Osona, in the early 2000s. One of his great projects, "La Frau," his residence and, at the same time, his most innovative artistic work, is a garden within the forest where one can encounter peacocks, Dutch ducks, and native ornamental birds of Catalonia. He considers himself a firm follower of realism and impressionism. In his works, the painter recreates the atmospheres of gardens, with their corners and nature where trees, plants, and flowers are a spectacle in themselves. His works have been exhibited in Spain, France, and Italy.
