BRUNET, Maria Neus

Born in Manresa, Barcelona, in 1960. In 1976 she entered the Vilajosana Academy in Manresa to learn drawing and painting techniques. In 1980 she began exhibiting her work regularly in Spain, Italy, and the USA. Among the distinctions achieved throughout her artistic career are: Honorary Prize at the 8th International Remo Brindisi Trophy Contest (Ferrara, Italy); Honorary Prize at the Antiqua Florentia Contest (Florence, Italy); Honorary Prize at the II Colosseo, Omaggio a Roma; Honorary Prize at the Alba 2003 Contest (Ferrara, Italy); she has also been appointed Corresponding Academician of the Accademia Internazionale Grecia-Marino (Italy).
