MARSÀ CASAS, Xavier

Born in Barcelona in 1944. His first exhibition took place in 1959. All his works have been interpreted in-situ and entirely in watercolor, that is, with water as the source of life, applying the most appropriate technical adjustments to each environmental situation. These are shown with the sole intention of spreading the watercolor technique which, as those who cultivate it well know, produces surprising results of great artistic beauty and, above all, highly innovative in the case of Marsà Casas. Studies and brief notes of small format on diverse themes is a set of watercolors that the author has managed to spread wherever he has exhibited, and this small-format work belongs to the Rocas y costas (Rocks and Coasts) series.
