DMITRIJEV, Vladislav

Born in Russia in 1952. In 1976, he graduated from the Moscow School of Architecture and in 1986 moved to the Czech Republic. His first exhibitions took place in Russia and Ukraine. He began systematically exhibiting his own paintings after his arrival in the Czech Republic. In 2004, he received awards from The European Union of Arts and The European Prize of Fine Arts, in addition to other accolades granted for his work in Italy, France, and Australia. His works are part of many private art collections in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Spain, Andorra, Israel, Japan, and the USA, among which Madeleine Albright and Ivana Trump stand out. His oil paintings nostagically depict the old alleys of Prague from the perspective of pedestrians or from "bird-sky views" in a refined style close to Russian neo-impressionism.
