SUÁREZ, Amaury

Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1960. He completed his early studies in painting, sculpture, drawing, and printmaking at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in Havana, graduating in 1980 with a specialization in painting. That same year, he passed the competitive entrance exams for the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 1985. That same year, he held the Chair of Illustration and Pictorial Techniques at the Higher Institute of Industrial and Informational Design in Havana. His works have been exhibited worldwide, with pieces on display at the Headquarters of the National Choir and Orchestra of Cuba, the Museum of Fine Arts of Havana, the Headquarters of the Florida Chamber Orchestra, and in the private residences of Bill Clinton (former US President), Roberto Suárez (President of the Miami Herald), Montaner (President of the Liberal Party of Cuba in exile), among others.
