COMES, Joaquim

Born in Palamós, Girona, in 1948. He trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona, expanding his knowledge through study trips across major European museums. Throughout his career, he has held exhibitions in numerous Spanish cities, as well as in France, Switzerland, and Andorra. Comes develops work centered on landscapes, characterized by a highly personal, vibrant, and colorful language rooted in Post-Impressionism. His works are currently held in private collections and museums in Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, the United States, the Dominican Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, Great Britain, and Andorra.
