Andrés Landín Ysasia (Madrid, 1957 – Sitges, 2023) was a distinguished painter, architect, and Ph.D. in Fine Arts from the Complutense University and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid, whose multifaceted academic background imparted extraordinary compositional rigor and intellectual depth to his artwork. Uniquely trained in both spatial architecture and painterly poetics, Landín cultivated a atmospheric figurative language in which mastery of perspective, veiled light, and the geometry of urban landscapes and intimate interiors played a central lyrical role.
