LANDIN YSASIA, Andrés

Born in Madrid in 1957. Holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the San Fernando Faculty of Fine Arts (Madrid) and a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. First National Painting Prize winner in 1991, 1993, and 1997, as well as recipient of the BMW Art Award. He has held solo exhibitions since 1981 in Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and the USA (Miami, New York, Washington, and Boston). His works can be found in private collections worldwide and in prestigious institutions such as the US Embassy in Spain, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando (Madrid), the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla, the University of Valladolid, the Embassy of Spain in Portugal, Lloyds Bank (London), the Air Force Headquarters (Madrid), and the BMW Collection (Munich, Germany).
